Try Bikini Kitty For Spring Ready Legs

bikini kitty kitIf you are making plans for a spring break trip or even just dreaming of the day you can skip the pantyhose or tights with your skirt then you need to think about getting your legs ready - well, unless you're a guy, then, no worries.

Bikini Kitty has a shaving system made for some of the more tricky shaving areas, made from natural ingredients and made to eliminate ingrown hairs. Because I wanted to be able to write about using Bikini Kitty without blushing too much, I went for a general, whole leg shaving approach.

The kit provides Everyday Magic Spray to help with exfoliation, an exfoliation brush, a single blade razor, razor oil, and shaving gel. Just for comparison, I will let you know I normally use a four-blade razor and some shaving soap.

I shaved one leg with the Bikini Kitty system and one leg with my normal shaving tools. First of all, after going over the steps needed to use all the Bikini Kitty stuff, I decided to take my normal shower and then turn the water off for the leg shaving part. Apparently that wasn't a good plan since the Bikini Kitty shaving gel started drying out and gumming up the single blade razor in a major way. I had to frequently reapply the razor oil to keep things going and I wasn't getting a good shave overall.

I don't think using the Bikini Kitty system of a single blade razor, multiple applications of razor oil and the shave gel goes well with the idea of an eco-friendly, water saving shower unfortunately, but the natural shaving gel was very nice to use for regular shaving in the shower (it didn't dry out in there). I think if you generally have a lot of problems with ingrown hairs, you should give it a try.

I think I will get the most use from this on a beach vacation when I am shaving bikini areas much more often. For everyday, general use though, I'll be sticking to my older, quicker system to save water. My legs feel almost identical even though it took me almost three times as long to shave one as it did the other.

Semi-nude tofu wrestling

(Click the photo to watch the video -- warning: mature content)

What says "Stop eating meat!" more than a Playboy model wrestling a PETA model? If you guessed having them wrestle in tofu, you win a special (imaginary) prize for pervy thoughts!

In keeping with their practices of nudity, hyper-sexualization of vegetarianism and all around provocativeness, our friends at PETA are courting media attention with this moderately unsafe for work video.

The stars are Kayla Rae Worden, in the blue bikini, and Kira Eggers of Playboy "fame" in the white thong. Both ladies are also sporting large, fake breasts, which you can say at least are not made of anything animal-related.

I believe the stated goal of this piece is to raise "awareness" by way of raising other "things." I'm sure all of the dudes standing around watching them wrestle are totally thinking, "Yeah, there's something to this vegan thing after all!"

Enjoy the clip with caution. When the drumming stops, the scary animal cruelty videos start. It might have nearly naked ladies, but it's is still a PETA video, after all.

Which celebs got naked for PETA?

Solar-powered chair allows you to work during your vacation

Personally, when I get the opportunity to sprawl out on a poolside lounger, I like to be gadget-free so I can enjoy the peacefulness of getting a sunburn. Other people lay out so often that they prefer to do a little multitasking as they catch some rays. Those are the type of people who might enjoy the "Tech Chair." This solar-powered work/lounge station may be a glimpse into the future of outdoor furniture.

Like other solar docking stations we've seen, the Tech Chair will allow you to take your gadgets off the grid -- but, as far as I know, this one is the only one that allows you to use them while you're horizontal. Apparently, the minds at PC World are responsible for this awesome/ridiculous design, still in the concept stages. If and when the chair goes public, uses will be able to connect firewire, USB, and audio cables to your laptop which sits on a sliding table. Users will also be able to locate and reserve chairs online using built-in GPS.

Note: Has anyone tried to use their computer in a sunny outdoor area recently? It's nearly impossible to see the screen. Hopefully, that LCD screen is super bright.

Be sustainably sexy, even in the sun

Hey you bathing beauties - get a load of these sassy suits that just happen to also be sustainable. No matter your size, there's a green suit for you (and I don't mean the color). And as long as you're in the market for a suit, you might as well make it eco-friendly, right? (Just be ready to shell out the big bucks - unfortunately, these aren't as accessible as your average Speedo).

So take a look at the suits, even if the closest you'll get to the shore this summer is your grandparents' condo pool. Just slather on the sunscreen, close your eyes, stretch out, and think green thoughts.

New Victoria's Secret bikini is recycled, which is the only reason I'm staring

Nothing says sustainability like attractive bikini models enjoying themselves on the beach! OK, so maybe that has nothing to do with the state of the planet, but it's fun to look at. And best of all, in this case the women are clad completely in recycled materials. Hooray!

Introducing the Aaron Change reversible bikini from Victoria's Secret. You're looking at a palm print, and on the other side it's solid white -- just in case you're into wearing green while you go green. For a mere $50, this is a great way to show off your beach bod while keeping the environment in mind.

Granted, that's not very much material, so the fact that it's recycled probably isn't making a huge dent in anyone's carbon footprint. But nevertheless, I highly encourage Victoria's Secret to make more sustainable swimwear and lingerie -- 'cause if they do, I'm pretty sure I could convince my fiance that it'd be OK for me to sit around flipping through the catalog (you know, for work).

It's getting hot in here...

These bikinis make green look hot!

Admit it: all this talk about global warming, while occasionally frightening, really just makes you think about spending more time on the beach. So now that you're dreaming about possibility of a steamy tropical getaway in the middle of Wisconsin, you might as well make those fantasies a little more eco-friendly.

Fortunately, thanks to JungleGurl, you can still look uber-hot while you're going green. The company has created some super-sexy, one-of-a-kind bikinis that designer Natalie Golonka refashioned from items she found while traveling the globe.

With any luck, soon the only thing heating up the beach will be you -- in your smoking hot new G-string. Wink.
