1960's

In the early 1960's, women across America are taking their fashion ques from Jackie Kennedy. Think fitted, feminine suits, stand-up collars and pill box hats. Empire waist becomes popular in evening wear. As the 60's wear on, the full skirts of the past give way to miniskirts and then hot pants. The Mod Look appears on the scene as well, with it's bright, geometric prints.
