The end of the war saw the end of rationing and the return to "normal" life. Skirts got longer and much, much fuller. There's also a newfound sense of fun in clothes and accessories, and a clear distction is made for the first time between youth and adult fashions. Poodle skirts and bobbi socks for the girls, and denim makes it's apearance for the boys. The "New Look" is popular among women - fitted shirt and full skirts.
