Lake Balaton, Hungary

The largest freshwater lake in Eastern and Central Europe and major tourist attraction of Hungary, Lake Balaton is especially vulnerable to dropping water levels (which means more concentrated pollution levels and unhealthy algae blooms along the coastline) due to rising temperatures and a drier climate.
