The new ParentDish: helping raise kids of all ages

Choosing a container

*You can really knock yourself out and get creative here. Sizes can range from coffee cup to bathtub (And could literally be a bathtub. Old clawfoot tubs make great planters), and everything in between. You are only constrained by the needs of your plants. They can handle being close together as long as there is enough room below for the roots to grow. Some plants have deeper roots than others, so be sure to accommodate them.
*If you do choose a planter that has previously held a plant, be sure to sanatize it before using again so you don't pass any diseases from the old plant to the new plant.
