Problem: Ductwork

One big way our homes waste energy is through leaky ductwork. Supply ductwork can leak heated air into the attic or crawl spaces, and outside air can be drawn into the return ductwork, reducing efficiency dramatically.The Fix: Inspect ductwork at the joints and intersections. Seal any leaks with duct sealer or silicone caulk. More money saving tips.
