Most of the bulbs in my house are this brand and style. I picked them up at Lowes before reading all of the bad reviews online. They work well for the most part in single bulb fixtures like my closets and bathroom. However, I have had no success in using these in ceiling fans as they tend to flicker. I found several reviews that claimed that these bulbs burnt out in a couple of months or started to smoke. I have had neither of these results and am generally pleased.Lowes
