The scientists

John Clambokidis is the co-founder of Cascadia Research in Olympia, Washington. He was one of the lead scientists on this trip. With him is Mary Lou, a photographer and wife of Dr, Bruce Mate. Mate also led the expedition and is the director of the Marine Mammal Institute.
