Josh moved to Austin to do two things: get famous and get a film degree at the University of Texas; the latter of which he received in 2004. While waiting for his celebrity status to materialize, he occupies himself with working on his Jeep and writing short stories and screenplays. Josh's passions are music, writing, and his beautiful wife, but not necessarily in that order. He plays drums in a number of bands, the most prominent of which is The Early Tapes, and collaborates with Yellow Tape Construction Company, a performing arts group in Austin.
