Eco-design
A sustainable, environmentally friendly plan. The term generally refers to housing, building, and city plans which make use of low impact, renewable and energy-efficient materials. An eco-designed home might, for example, incorporate a green roof, solar power, and sustainable bamboo flooring into its construction. Also known as sustainable design.
