Football Nudity for Thanksgiving: Thanks PETA!
Ok, only one person, NFL star Tony Gonzalez, thinks that last one, but we all get to enjoy the result.
Tony, a tight end -- yes, the sexiest sounding football position! -- with the Atlanta Falcons, and his lovely life-partner, October, (yes, that's her name, not the month she was a centerfold ... I think ...) posed in the nude, sharing the now familiar sentiment that they'd rather be naked than wear fur.
Not actually spelled out in the copy, but implied loud and clear, was that they'd also enjoy a side dish of slightly-purient d-list fame to go with that hearty helping of self-serving activism.
Since it's a holiday week, let's give them the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure they really really don't want animals to suffer -- does anyone? -- and a PETA ad does put you on a (naked) moral high ground (slightly) above people who release a sex tape for fame.
You know the drill: fur = bad, naked = good! If you want to add your voice to the protest of factory fur farming, visit the PETA site and sign the petition.
