PETA and Andy Dick Take Their Anti-McDonald's Campaign to the Talk Show Circuit

This video of Andy Dick, dressed as a cleaver-brandishing Ronald McDonald, and talking to fake talk show host Jiminy Glick is many things:

  • hilarious
  • disgusting
  • misguided
  • riveting
  • still hilarious
Love 'em or hate 'em, PETA knows how to play the media like an army of puppets. Even if some of us are relatively uninspired by the plight of McDonald's chickens (obviously I don't condone cruelty to animals but priorities, people, priorities), none of us can resist the spectacle of a mass-murdering fast-food clown trash talking chickens.

I've mentioned this McCruelty I'm Hatin' It campaign before -- remember the bloody Happy Meals? PETA's big aggravation is that McDonald's buys chicken from suppliers who practice "cruel" methods to kill chickens. They want the fast food giant to switch to suppliers that use controlled atmosphere killing method.

It might be more humane, but let's be real: it still makes dead chickens. So you know that McDonald's can't win. Even if they switch suppliers, they'll still be serving meat, which PETA hates. That means more protests, more campaigns, and more Andy Dick wearing a blood-soaked clown outfit.

Admit it, you're kind of excited to see what Andy Dick will do next. This is some of the best work he's done in years. He should thank every chicken that dies for helping bring his career back to life.
