Once again showing his enthusiasm for sustainable architecture, Brad Pitt made a quick trip out to Aviles, Spain, to study the eco-aspects of the new Oscar Niemeyer International Cultural Center. Planners hope it will rival Bilbao's Guggenheim when it's complete.

In one foreclosure-ravaged town in Florida, code enforcers have ditched the chemicals and started using a much cheaper and greener option to treat abandoned pools: Live catfish. At about 10% of the cost of chemicals, these pools are sanitary once again.
