Sexy Vegan Makeup is Not an Oxymoron

But no, the post was about vegan makeup, which is also really fun. SheFinds reviewed four vegan brands, including one of my green favorites, von Natur. This line is amazing because it's a) totally organic, b) vegan, c) has kick-ass colors, plus d) the lipgloss has this addictive minty goodness that's hard to explain, but you want to experience it, believe me.
Also on the list was Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil, which I adore, and had no idea was vegan. Again, fantastic colors, and cruelty-free.
Not on the SheFind's list, but one of my best vegan picks is e.l.f cosmetics, aka eyes, lips, face cosmetics. This amazingly affordable line -- most items are in the $1-3 range -- doesn't have any animal ingredients, not even beeswax, and they don't test on animals. They are partners with PETA in the Caring Consumer project, and have a special "fur-free" tweezer set for $10, with half of the proceeds going to PETA.
Not to beat a dead horse, because PETA could be all over that, but see? Cool products can be green. And green products can be cool. And vegans can wear makeup and look hot. Hey, what's that banging sound? Oh, it's another nail in the Hemp Ghetto Stereotype coffin!
