Composting: It's the LawSF Mayor Gavin Newsom signed the nation's first mandatory composting law yesterday. The city has set a goal to divert 75% of its landfill waste, and they're currently at 72%. I'm forecasting some stinky green compost bins baking in the heat this summer. |
