I celebrated earth day by spending time outdoors. I planted flowers, and used as little electricity as possible. Everyday is earth day and I am very passionate about taking care of the earth. I always try and go green as much as possible.

I'm celebrating my small efforts over the past year (like switching to bringing my own grocery bags and having a zero-waste lunch) Instead of one big gesture, I'm trying to do more little habit changes in my life that will eventually add up into something big. :)

I'm celebrating Earth Day by sharing my knowledge with others. I have managed to get a powerpoint full of the small (and some big) things you can do to conserve to start a company-wide meeting! I've also got compost buckets in every kitchen. Now to get people to use them and shut of their computers at night...

I have a heck of a cold right now, but if I am feeling better my daughter and I will be planting some flowers outside and getting our garden ready for planting in a few weeks...and of course checking our compost pile!

We try to treat Earth Day just as any other day as we already lead a pretty eco-friendly life-style. I'm sure we'll spend the day outside, raking the garden, getting ready to sow seeds, and just enjoying everything that is finally budding!
Oh yes, and we promised a trip to the park with the kids!

I will celebrate Earth Day by bringing my kids on a walk around the neighborhood to pick up trash. I will also do laundry by NOT doing any laundry. I will also consciously leave the lights off as long as possible. Perhaps light a few soy candles!
