Olsen Twins Party at Green Nightclub
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are huge trendsetters within the fashion world, so maybe this will be the start of a green revolution amongst hipster fashionistas! MKO and her boyfriend were spotted recently partying at a green nightclub -- not the first of it's kind -- in NYC, the other night.The club is aptly named Greenhouse, and the owners are hoping that the trendy eco-movement will have celebs banging down the door to get in.
So what makes this club so special? Well, here are the vital details:
"[It's]a bi-level 6,000 square foot nightclub, lounge and event space built from recycled or recyclable materials, Greenhouse went the extra mile to receive L.E.E.D. registration, which is awarded by the United States Green Buildings Council for environmentally conscious contruction and design"
Unfortunately, the bar isn't exclusively organic. They do have organic offerings, but haven't made the full leap yet either. However, they will have to report all energy/resource use to L.E.E.D. so that should keep Greenhouse on their toes.
