We all knew Kim Kardashian was simple at best, but now it's clear that she and her whole damn family are in the criminally stupid category and should be sterilized before they create another generation of imbeciles.

The vapid human-blow-up-doll is under fire for posting pictures of a baby chimp on her website.

The photos went up the day after Charla Nash, who had her hands and face chewed off by Travis the chimp in that violent attack, went through four hours of painful surgery.

On her site, Kim defended her earlier post by saying that she and her sisters only rented Suzy the chimp for their lame realty show, Keeping up the the Kardashians, and she's set the post to publish ages ago -- long before the tragedy with Charla Nash and Travis.

This is wrong on so many levels.

First, who thinks it's okay to rent a baby chimp? And that it's somehow different or better than buying one?

And what kind of animal trainer would entrust a the chimp to those witless, empty-headed girls?

Plus, give me a break, she "didn't remember" the photos were scheduled to post! Sure, Kim's no Rhodes Scholar, but she does know how to work the free publicity machine. The first thing Kim thought when she heard about Travis was, "Ooooh, I have a chimp story! This means hits on my website!"

As irrelevant as this little fame whore may be (does anyone even watch that dippy show?) it is wrong wrong WRONG to bring home a baby chimp and dress her up in sequins for the camera.

She does a terrible disservice to chimps -- and all great apes -- by creating the impression that it's okay to use these creatures as props for a gag on a silly TV show. Especially since Suzy the Chimp has at least 30 more IQ points than Kim -- and her whole damn family, combined!

And by the way, where is PETA in all this? Doesn't their "No More Monkey Business" campaign apply to the K-girls? I hope they come out with a statement soon, especially since Khloe Kardashian is one of their nude "no fur" spokesmodels.
