Civil Disobedience: Climate Change Edition
In the video below, Dr. Goddard says that he thinks its time we take a stand on climate change, and that our current rate of use of fossil fuels cannot continue. That's why the action will be at the coal plant that powers the nation's capitol.
The action is endorsed by a number of environmental and peace groups, justice organizations, and some of Thoreau's descendants in the environmental literature department: Bill McKibben and Wendell Berry.
