Physicians Formula Organic wear Makeup
There are so many expensive organic makeup brands these days that I had moderate expectations for the new Physicians Formula Organic wear line. It's available in drugstores everywhere, and none of the items cost more than $13.95. What a pleasant surprise to discover it's one of the best lines I've ever tried -- organic or "regular"!
I just had a hideous experience reviewing a mascara for StyleList, so I was actually dreading trying another new brand. It was such a relief to find that the Organic wear 100% Natural Origin Mascara is awesome!
It went on smoothly, gave me good length, and the Ultra Black was a nicely sooty shade. It's an easy to use daytime mascara, very similar to the classic Maybelline Great Lash (the pink and green one), only without any of the chemicals, synthetic preservatives or parabens. Plus the applicator is 100% recyclable.
In fact, the materials Physicians Formula uses for the entire line are pretty amazing. The compacts are made of paper (the design is patent-pending) and everything is as natural and recyclable as possible, from the packaging to the brushes.
In addition to the mascara I also tried the super fruit lipgloss, blush, liquid foundation and bronzer. Rather than go into detail, I'll just say: go try them.
Everything is so well priced that they won't break your budget (so important right now) and if you hate 'em, at least you can recycle the whole product. But I think you'll like the Organic wear line as much as I did!
