Permanent Camping

Camping can be a fun option when it comes to vacationing, but what about adopting it as a permanent lifestyle? Australian architect Casey Brown built this small 3x3 meter building that falls somewhere between a house and a glorified campsite. The concept is about living with no more than what you really need, and considering the small space this "permanent campsite" is actually pretty comfy looking. It has a sleeping loft upstairs and a kitchen and wood-burning stove downstairs, with glass and timber walls that provide lots of light and a great view in good weather and protection (via retractable copper-clad siding) in bad.
