I had to giggle when I saw this Greenpeace advertisement. It's message is pretty clear. Unless you have sunshine streaming from your behind, use energy efficient light bulbs.
Making the switch from incandescent lights to compact flourescent lamps can save you $150 a year and you will not have to replace bulbs as often as you would with incandescents. If you have not already changed the bulbs in your house, start with the rooms you use most frequently and work out from there.
