Chimpanzee cares for endangered tiger cubs
Here's your daily dose of cuteness. Two tiger cubs were born at The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species in South Carolina during Hurricane Hannah. The property was severely flooded and the cubs had to be separated from their mother. Since then they have been in the care of two-year-old Anjana.
Anjana assists with their feeding and she lies with them when they rest. These are not the first babies she has helped to raise. If she continues to be a good assistant to keeper, China, these won't be the last.
White tigers are severely endangered. There are roughly 200 of these animals left in the world. Very few can be found in their native India or other parts of Asia.
