Arm & Hammer Essentials = good, clean fun
I have made the switch in my house to white vinegar for surface cleaning. The kitchen, bathroom, windows and floors all smell like salad dressing when I finish. There are times however that I reach into the dark recesses under my sink to pull out remnants of old chemical cleaners. The next time I need to refill my commercial stock, I will be checking out Arm & Hammer Essentials.Arm & Hammer has taken a look at the amount of plastic wasted with every spray bottle that flies of the shelves. Since each bottle is 95% water, Arm & Hammer has developed an ultra concentrated, plant based formula. The concentrated cartridges use 85% less plastic and 80% less packaging than conventional spray bottles. They are also saving fuel costs which they pass onto you.
The Essentials start up kit is one empty spray bottle and one cleaning cartridge. You fill the spray bottle with your tap water and empty the cleaning agent into the mix. When you run out, cartridge refills are available in packages of two. Arm & Hammer states that the bottle can be reused "at least" seven times.
There are three versions of Arm & Hammer Essentials available: Muliti-Surface Cleaner, Cleaner & Degreaser and Glass Cleaner. If you are interested in trying it for yourself, there is currently a 100% rebate offer on their website as well as a variety of coupons.
I think that we will continue to see more companies make these changes in order to save fuel and shipping costs. Just what will retailers do with all of that extra shelf space?
