Van Jones, "The Green Collar Economy"

Van Jones is the founding president of Green For All and a senior fellow with the Center for American Progress. His book, "The Green Collar Economy," has released this week. "The Green Collar Economy" puts forth a plan for solving the two biggest problems facing our country today, our faltering economy and our environmental crisis. While it may appear that the two problems are separate, Jones makes the argument that the problems and the solutions are interconnected.

Green For All is an organization that promotes green-collar jobs and opportunities for the disadvantaged. The group's mission is to build "an inclusive, green economy - strong enough to resolve the environmental crisis and lift millions of people out of poverty." Van is a husband and father to two young boys and a 1993 Yale Law graduate.

I haven't read the book yet, but I am certainly going to, the first chance I get.
