Jay-Z awarded for clean water efforts
Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, has been quietly and steadfastly working towards bringing clean to MTV also teamed with Jay-Z and water for life -- meaning you can watch the "Diary" of Jay-Z in Africa on their overdrive video section if you're interested. He went last year and has been dedicated to the cause ever since.
This big honor comes from the United Nations, but apparently even that's not big enough for Beyonce. She didn't come out to support her husband's moment in the limelight. She's busy releasing not one, but two new singles soon so I know she's buy -- but still, this is a great cause, and she could have brought even more attention to it if she had attended the presentation of the award. But hey,
