Is that a fuel cell in your pocket? World's 1st portable fuel cell charger

Fuel cell technology has been the bees knees when it comes to automotive technology for years now, but by most estimates we're still a long way from seeing a commercially available hydrogen car. So, if you can't wait 15 more years to test drive fuel cell technology, you can pick up this portable fuel cell charger at Best Buy. The " 24-7 Power Pack," offered by Medis Technologies, will allow you to charge your portable devices on the go with eco-friendly fuel cell technology.

According to the product site, the Power Pack will provide about 30 hours of talk time on a normal cell phone, and about 60-80 hours of playing time on an iPod -- guess they did the testing before iPhones were readily available. Not only does the this mobile fuel cell give your mp3 player a green charge, but it contains no environmentally hazardous chemicals. It's also made from PET recycled plastic -- so when it runs out of juice, just send it in to Medis to be recycled. Price: around $30.
