Green rules for green people

What does it really mean to be "green"? When it comes to building or remodeling your home, going green has a different meaning to different people. In a recent article over at Off-Grid.net, they take a look at the meaning of green building and green living from the perspective of using common sense to make your home more efficient and less wasteful. This is a view I share, and I'm very excited whenever I come across something like this.

We're to a point these days where saving the environment seems more mainstream than ever. Everyone wants to do their part, and everyone wants to be able to tell their friends just how much of a difference they're making. Yet, sometimes these intentions can become misguided by commercialism and the push to have the latest green technology, at whatever expense. This article tackles that issue by giving us several tips on reusing and recycling what we have, improving on what we have and resisting the urge to go "all out" when building a new home. It's like they say, less is more.
