Kinetic energy rechargers move to cell phones
Upon the heels of the news earlier this year regarding military personnel acting as their own power plants through kinetic or "dynamo" energy, M2E Power has announced that they plan to utilize this technology for cell phones as well. The key to this, and why it hasn't been done before, is M2E's development of an external charger that is capable of generating between 300% and 700% more energy than the current kinetic energy technologies already in place. This set-up is capable of capturing even low frequency kinetic energy, allowing the majority of menial daily human motion to be converted into electricity that can not only charge our cell phones, but mp3 players and PDAs as well.
