Robin Wright Penn: green for her kids
Looking at the big environmental picture can be a little overwhelming sometimes. That's understandable -- it happens to the best of us. Actress Robin Wright Penn has a new strategy -- focus on the kids and everything seems a bit more manageable.She's currently taking the Ecomom Challenge. It's a program started by EcoAlliance with 10 steps to follow for a "sustainable future."
Robin believes her kids are what motivate her green living habits. She says, "I get way too overwhelmed if I focus on the larger global picture. But as a mom, I can do these small things on the [EcoMom Alliance] list and know I'm doing something positive and protective."
That's a good way to look at things. You don't necessarily have to think about the future of all humanity, but rather the future of your precious children. Now that's a reason to go green!
