Send your DNA into space to reverse global warming

As part of Operation Immortality, video game developer Richard Garriott is teaming up with Planet Make-Over to help reverse the effects of global warming through our DNA. Both of these causes have a shared goal of the preservation of the human species, and through this project, hope to bring more attention to Planet Make-Over's strategy of reversing global warming through social networking.

In Operation Immortality, Garriott will be bringing the DNA and messages of hope from a select few with him on his walk in space. Yes, real space, the kind with stars and all that. This operation centers around his current gaming project, Tabula Rasa, where Earth has been devastated by hostile aliens and is forced to rebuild. Within the realms of this collaboration, both parties hope to spread the word about the real probability that Earth is in danger (not exactly by aliens) and we need to make changes quickly.
