Diaper spill: adult disposables litter Houston highway
What's more embarrassing than having people find out that you wear adult diapers? Having them find out that you use the environmentally unfriendly disposable kind. OK, maybe not. Still, if we're going to ask parents to green their child's potty-training experience, why isn't there any pressure to make adult diapers out of a biodegradable material? Then, situations like this diaper spill along a highway in Houston wouldn't be as environmentally destructive.Apparently, a semi-truck carrying a load of adult diapers was involved in a rollover accident just outside of the immense suburban sprawl that surrounds Houston, TX. Diaper cleanup crews have been dispatched to the area, and officials claim that the diaper spill won't decimate the local eco-systems. But who really knows for sure?
Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported -- but a lot of adults might have to go diaperless for longer than they had planned.
