Reconsider tap water.
Tap water gets a lot of bad press but the truth is that here in the U.S. tap water is just as safe as bottled water. It gets tested regularly for things like parasites, viruses, and poisonous or disease chemicals, and if you're worried about ingesting too much chlorine and/or metals like lead and copper you can use a handy pitcher-style carbon filtration system to clean all that stuff out.
