Green innovations: Daniel Schipper's folding greenhouse
One of my favorite parts of writing for Green Daily is when I get to highlight a designer who's developed an innovative, weird, or just plain awesome new gadget to help people lower their impact on the planet. Today, I ran across this awesome eco-innovation for your rooftop (or stairwell) gardening project -- which, by the way investors, needs a little help getting into production.
Daniel Schipper's folding greenhouse allows you to keep a tidy greenhouse in all kinds of small spaces. The frameless design allows for easy setup and take down, and -- in this era of flat-pack furniture domination -- this tiny greenhouse too can be folded flat for storage. Maybe the guys at Ikea should give Daniel a call. Did I mention that the whole thing is built out of recycled plastic? Bonus.
