PETA's other sexiest vegetarians for 2008
PETA, not satisfied with Sexiest Vegetarians Anthony Kiedis and Leona Lewis, went and held a contest for two more hot carrot munchers over on peta2.org. The winners? Alyssa Milano of Charmed "fame" and My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero.
If you want to do a Clinton-esque splitting of hairs, Alyssa and Frank are the "sexiest vegetarians alive" and Anthony and Leona are the "sexiest celebrity vegetarians." Because, those are two different categories, not. This is a clear case of tomayto-tomahto double-dipping.
To give credit where it's due, the peta2 list of nominees was different, with younger celebrities. They also had several more men on the list, most of whom are in bands. Since the lack of legitimate male nominees was my big complaint about the PETA list (I mean, seriously, Don Imus? Let's have some real choices, PETA) I consider that a big improvement.
