Book Review: The Renewable Energy Handbook
This book explains everything you've ever wanted to know (and then some) about creating your own energy. There's information on solar, wind, hydro, biofuels and more. Plus, this book doesn't just give you the information and then leave, it gives practical applications for each. For instance, it is said that one of the easiest beginner projects for solar energy is a hot water heater. This book shows you how to tackle that project and do it right. There are also real-life examples from several people who are living every day through renewable energy. They tell their stories and what has and has not worked for them.
Despite the fact that this book does get a bit technical, it provides enough of a spectrum of information to keep it interesting as reading material, and also a wonderful reference.
