Buy Leonardo DiCaprio's watch to help the environment

I'm not much of a watch person, but everything Leonardo DiCaprio does is interesting. I was intrigued to read that he and waaaay schmancy (yeah, I didn't know about them before this either) watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre teamed up to create a program to benefit the Leonardo DiCaprio Fund at the California Community Foundation
The program is called "Time to Care" and basically involves selling two watches, one for $300,000, the other for $400,000. There are several reasons why these time pieces are worth that much, all of which were grey noise to me. Check out the Luxist post if you groove on all the mechanical/collectible details.
The awesome thing is that the all proceeds -- nearly a cool million -- and not just a percentage will go directly to Leo's foundation. That kind of money will go a long way toward raising awareness about global warming, sustainable practices and the other laudable work the foundation does.
So, if you're super-rich, love watches, totally crush on Leo and want to help the environment, please go to the Jaeger-LeCoultre stores in either Beverly Hills or Boca Raton, and make today the "Time to Care." There must be two of you out there, somewhere!
