Looking to have an eco-friendly party? Check out evite, where there is now a whole "eco-friendly" party theme. Starting with eco-friendly evites of course!

Lots of party ideas for your eco-bash, including using natural decorations, natural lighting and real plates and cups. Serve up local foods with some lavender lemonade (very earthy!). There are also some cute ideas under "Activities" like hosting a get-together to take action in your community, or hosting a viewing party of Planet Earth.

Finally, they have a playlist suggestion for the party; check out some of the songs:

The party ideas are neat, but the playlist, well, that could go either way. Your guests could leave feeling really inspired, or really glum. Tread carefully!

I was planning to host a grand party to celebrate my first wedding anniversary with my family and friends. I wanted to give a very calm, subtle and eco-friendly look to the whole decor, so I went for a general “eco friendly” theme. I was not sure what kind of accessories I should use to paint the whole area green. So I started surfing net and got some really cool ideas from this blog called http://www.partyinvitationsblog.com/. One of the ideas, “serving lavender lemonade” under the green shed, proved to a big hit with everyone. My party was a blast.
