Tommy Lee Jones is famous for playing lawmen with a dry sense of humor. Ironically, it looks like it's his water habit that's getting him into trouble. According to a report released by the San Antonio Water System, Jones' lack of water awareness has made him San Antonio's 8th biggest water-guzzler. By pouring out a mind-blowing 128,139 gallons per month, Jones has managed to consumer 15 times the water as an average citizen of the Alamo City -- which just so happens to be under year-round water rationing. What's he doing, filling a private lake?
To be fair, maybe he's got a leaking pipe -- like Celine Dion. Still, if that's the case, he hasn't been quick to call the plumber. That number is an average taken from his water bill over the last 7 months. We know celebrities like extravagance, but come on, this is pretty ridiculous. Reportedly, the water police are going over to Jones' house to talk to him about his water excess.
