Grab your charge card, Barney's got a shipment of Kooba eco-chic bags!
I was so excited to see Sprig's announcement that the coolest green tote ever is back! Run-don't-walk to Barney's if you want one, because it will probably be sold out before you finish reading about it here.Made of organic cotton with metallic cork trim, the Kooba bag comes in natural and pale olive. I suspect production wasn't entirely carbon neutral because metallic dyes tend to be, oh, kinda toxic, but let's give Kooba the benefit of the doubt until we hear otherwise.
It's relatively inexpensive for a limited edition "it" bag -- just $245, which means this best of both worlds (green and stylish) accessory is very accessible.

I'm not sure whether or not you're being sarcastic, but in no way should a supposed environmental web blog be encouraging the purchase of this bag. Yes the the metallic dyes are most likely toxic, and secondly, doesn't everyone who reads this site already own some sort of reusable shopping bag? The best thing anyone can do for the environment is cut down on their overall consumption. Remember, the first R in the three R's is REDUCE.

"only" $245? Maybe I'm out of touch with pricing of "it" items, but that still seems awfully steep to me. Guess I'll just make do with what I've got already :)
