Solar power briefcase: Is it practical?

How would you feel about carrying around an 11lb briefcase that doesn't actually hold anything and costs $1500? Seem crazy to you? Well what if I told you it contains solar panels that can store up to 75 W and charge most gadgets from cell phones to laptops with only the power of the sun? Does it seem a bit more practical now?

The new OPTI-Solar briefcase is basically no more than a portable solar panel, but if you think about it, that's really not so bad. It might not be something you'd haul to work with you on your commute every day, but just imagine sitting on a sunny beach with your laptop without a care in the world regarding the laptop's battery life. Or perhaps you need a bit of juice on a camping trip. This would be the ideal application, but for $1500?!
