The Hulk: now even greener
Trying to green Hollywood isn't a task for the faint of heart, that's probably why it took the Incredible Hulk to break down the barriers in order to make the first movie ever to receive the EMA's Green Seal. We know Ed Norton is a green machine in his own right, but as luck would have it, he was teamed up with one of Hollywood's most eco-conscious producers Gale Anne Hurd. Together, they were able to make a big budget action movie about a rampaging green beast into an environmental success story. According to Hurd, "From the very beginning, Marvel, Universal, Edward Norton and I were all focused on making ('Hulk') a very green production." By simply being conscientious, the production was able to cut back on the use of plastic utensils and water bottles. They also hired an environmental consultant -- I'm sure that had a little something to do with their success. The Incredible Hulk opened yesterday. If you're wondering what the Green Seal looks like, look for it in the credits.
