Specifically, golfing on an environmentally-friendly course. According to the U.S. Golf Association, about 1,000 courses are using recycled or reclaimed water, new grass is being developed that requires less water to thrive, and courses are returning to a more natural existence (read: no over-seeding or over-watering the grass). This is a huge improvement, considering that Audobon International estimates that each of Palm Springs' 57 golf courses use up to one million gallons of water a day.
