Breaking WIND: GE's party in a nacelle
When I saw this bar, GE's stock immediately went up in my mind. In a not so straightforward way, it kind of illustrates the fact that GE understands where wind power is at. While it's becoming increasingly dominated by giant corporations, there's still a real need to keep it feeling like a small and personal -- like people working together to achieve a mutual goal. Each afternoon at about 3ish, the kegs were tapped and the exhibition floor became a series of small to medium sized crowds of people gathering around bars and snack tables to do some networking.
