Tip of the Day: Cut down on paper towel use at the gym

It's good etiquette, when at the gym, to wipe down your machine after you use it.

After you've sweated and drooled and gawd knows what else all over the lat press/elliptical/adductor machine, it's only common courtesy to de-germ it before your fellow fitness buff steps on.

But after a cardio machine and a few weight machines, that adds up to a lot of paper towels. Add that to the paper towels in the locker room and the bathroom, and you're looking at waaaay too much paper use.A more eco-friendly alternative? Try bringing your own biodegradable wipes. Method makes a great flat plastic pack of All-Surface Wipes (easier to travel with) that you can keep in your gym locker.

The wipes are with 100% renewable and compostable bamboo fiber, and come in a "Go Naked" version that's free of added dyes, colors and scents. Grab one per workout, and you'll avoid using 20 paper towels each time you work out.
