Woody's vegan shoes leave huge carbon footprint
Whether it's holding up an interview while someone finds him an organic toothbrush, or skinny-dipping in front of the paparazzi with Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson seems like he's constantly in the news with his crazy antics. Most of the time, Woody's weird decisions are based on eco-friendly -- if not a little obsessive -- intentions, but the latest is just bassakwards.Apparently, when Woody arrived in Cannes last week, he realized that he'd forgotten his vegan belt and shoes. What a disaster! After sending his aides all over town to find replacements -- like he did with the toothbrush -- he decided there was no alternative. He couldn't borrow someone else's, he had to have them overnighted from Maui.
I don't know what carrier he used, or if he paid to have his shipment offset. Regardless, that's a big carbon-footprint for a belt and shoes, especially for someone who's extremely worried about global warming. He did win £1 million for charity at a celebrity poker game though.
