It's that time of year again -- PETA wants you to vote and help choose 2008's Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity. On their website, they have a list of 80 male celebs and 80 female celebs that you can pick from. Of course, the classics are are among your choices -- Natalie Portman, Alicia Silverstone and Jenna Jameson. But, did you know that Pink, Leona Lewis and Chelsea Clinton are also in the running for the vegetable crown?

Personally, we think it would be cute if Milo Ventimiglia and Hayden Panettiere were picked as the king and queen of sexy vegetarians, since they're a real life couple. There's only one minor problem -- nobody knows if Hayden's really a vegetarian or not. Even the people on the Veggie Board forums are confused. Rumor has it that gossip blogs started saying Hayden is a vegetarian because she once mentioned in an interview that she was considering going vegan in order to lose weight.



And that whole thing makes me wonder -- how many other celebrities are on PETA's master list that may not truly be vegetarians? Are they just trying to garner up publicity by naming a bunch of famous peeps who may have once, maybe, possibly mentioned that they sort of like veggie food?
