Weird news: pot-smoking teens take recycling to new depths
Interspersed throughout the green movement are many who consider hemp to be a miracle plant, an inestimable resource for paper, clothing, and even home construction. Incidentally, many of those same people enjoy cannabis for recreational, or should I say, medicinal purposes. Now, I've heard of smoking devices made out of recycled materials, found objects, or even shed antlers, but skull-bongs definitely cross the line. According to this article, three Houston-area teens confessed to digging up a human skull and re-using it to build a bong. Unbelievable. Is that even possible? If so, it's a major waste of engineering talent. DIY smoking devices are well and good, but we've never heard of something as ridiculous and bone-headed as this before (pardon the pun). Usually, I applaud the ingenuity of DIYers and their attempts to reduce their emissions and what not -- and smokers do produce their share of emissions -- but this stunt's just an insult to human decency. As far as morbid yet sustainable ideas go, I like the Coffin Table much better.

You don't need to be stoned to see virtually the rest of the world successfully and productively growing industrial use hemp, a different species than the marijuana plant.
William Randolph Hearst and Dupont smeared hemp in the 40's and the stigma, sadly, carries to this day. For thousands of years humans have used it including George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.
Look it up.
