Home Depot rolls out no-VOC paint

I was in Home Depot the other day. I'm in there once in a while, which is more than I'd like. I'm not a fan. Big box. Poor service most of the time. But it was a Sunday and the independent home improvement store was closed. I don't remember what I was buying, but I did whiz past the paint department when I was there. And I noticed a big new display of no-VOC paint. In Home Depot? You're kidding, right?Nope. Upon closer inspection, there was a rainbow of color samples along with brochures made with recycled materials describing The Freshaire Choice. Pretty cool. It's gotten props from Clean Tech Blog and The Daily Green. Although, it didn't pass a Popular Mechanics test for durability and coverage.
I'm not up for painting a room right now. But next time I am, this paint just might be my choice for a low-impact place, meaning somewhere besides the kitchen, bathroom or playroom.
