In 2007, the Sundance channel launched a series called Ecoists -- "short, intimate dialogs with some of today's most active and recognizable environmentalists." It's a great way to get more info on eco-friendly, but moreover, it's a great way to get inspired by some truly passionate, intelligent people who are working for the planet. We'll be syndicating these profiles on Green Daily, so you have a chance to catch up on any episodes you might have missed. In this video: Daryl Hannah discusses solar power.

The problem with celebrity spokespeople, of course, is if you dislike the celeb in question you may tend to ignore them and whatever message they're trying to get across. I can easily picture and right-leaning person entirely bypassing this article out of sheer dislike of an extreme tree hugger like Daryl Hannah.
Color me unispired.

Or, like 90% of the world wide population - can't even view said video, as it is US only.
Adoption of this video format - instead of YouTube or some other video hosting, means this website should be renamed.
How about www.USONLYgreendaily.com ?
What really irks me, is that this video has no copyright value.
Makes you wonder for the underlying reasons for the existence of this Blog and AOL's involvement.
